The Goal Of Singing - And How to Achieve It!

Part 1 - The Goal

People have different reasons for wanting to learn to sing, but every reason points back to being able to make something happen that wasn’t there before.

Can you imagine what life would be like if your favorite artists hadn’t produced the music you love so much?

These people put something ‘out there’ that wasn’t there before, and there is a good chance that they were inspired by someone, just like you are inspired by them.

Perhaps you like the music of Coldplay?

Or maybe you don’t!

Personally, I love Coldplay and the way they make me feel.  I love the way I share that feeling with so many other people, and we’ll all be singing along to our favorite songs together at a concert.

Bands like Coldplay have slowly prodded away at my inner-soul and made me want to learn the mysteries involved with having so much influence on impacting other people’s feelings in a positive way.

Part 2 - How to Achieve it

How does Coldplay and people like Taylor Swift actually do what they seem to do so well?

You know, it’s funny that there are always random answers to our questions, and when it comes to any amazing artist, engineer, athlete or student I think you will find that apart from a general appetite for hard work, they all have a strong allegiance to what they are doing.

In other words - they are LOYAL to their craft.

The late John Wooden, the most successful sporting coach of the last century (and some would say of all time) says,

“How can anyone work to the best of their ability unless they have someone or something to whom they are loyal?  Only then do you gain peace and an increasing ability to perform at your highest level. “

I truly believe that Coldplay and Taylor Swift (or any artist that is putting out great music year after year) would still do what they’re doing, even if it meant busking on a street or playing in front of a crowd of 5 people.

So, in conclusion …

Have you sworn allegiance to whatever it is that you need to swear allegiance too, or are you wanting to be, and do, too much at once?

Perhaps it’s time to choose!
